Nina began her career by working in a variety of office settings.  She has worked in publishing, resort management, advertising, and a number of sales positions.  She has a bachelor’s degree in Communication from Regis University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.  Nina started her real estate career in 1993 when she began investing in rental property.  Right after she became a landlord, she obtained her Real Estate license and became a Realtor®.  In 1994 she began working with buyers and sellers in Northern Colorado. She earned her GRI (Graduate, Realtor Institute) designation in 1995. In addition to helping buyers and sellers, she continued acquiring her own investment properties in Fort Collins and Estes Park and doing property management.

Nina rounded out her real estate experience by working for McWhinney Enterprises, a commercial developer, as their real estate coordinator.  She decided then that her heart was in residential real estate, so she opened her own firm, Spirit Realty, in October of 2003.  Spirit Realty is housed in an 1890’s-era historical building in downtown Fort Collins. Nina spearheaded the renovation and addition to an old home at 414 East Oak Street and created an office space that houses her real estate office and her husband’s software development business. 

In January of 2008, Nina decided that with the changing market, it would benefit her buyers and sellers if she joined Re/Max, the world leader in real estate.  Today she continues to enjoy giving exceptional service to buyers and sellers as a Re/Max agent.

Since Nina is a native Coloradoan, she offers extensive knowledge of the Northern Colorado area.  She also has a network of service people she can refer her clients to, including lenders, title companies, inspectors, repairmen, electricians, landscapers, contractors, and home staging consultants.

Nina is skilled at all aspects of residential real estate, including educating first-time homebuyers, helping investors analyze the potential of a property, and helping sellers maximize their sales price by assisting them with presenting their property in the best light.  She loves to introduce people who are new to the area to northern Colorado and all it has to offer, and she has a special interest and expertise in Old Town Fort Collins.

When she has time off, Nina enjoys spending time with her husband Scott daughter, Corinne (17), and stepsons Matt (30)  and Mark (27).  She loves hiking and outdoor activities, especially in Estes Park where she has a vacation home which she visits often.
